screen Red Green Blue, is a standard (IEC 61966-2-1:1999) for rendering color evenly across a variety of platforms, from inkjet printers to digital cameras to computer monitors. This allows Web desginers to have a broad colour palette, and frees them from the so-called “Web-safe palette” of 216 colours.
