What’s the object?

The W3C concludes its two-part series on how to embed multimedia into HTML documents, and asks the Web standards community to help them QA browsers. The timing is just about perfect for this because as most reading this are no doubt aware:

Firefox/Gecko, Opera, and Safari developers actively fix bugs;
and Microsoft — whose Interent Explorer browser has the poorest (contempary) implementation — is developing a new version.

For the record, here are my results:

I agree on the fact that webstandards (WWW), you know triple W =webstandards, webstandards and even more webstandards, should be implemented by every web professional. And what is reality for you, Windows XP is inmensely the far most used OS in the world and consequently Internet Explorer the far most used browser. And all these other browsers as Mozilla and Opera are more progressive in as suggested in your article, in fixing bugs in their browsers. That is reality. I only dislike articles from these purists that say webstandards and semantics are pure gold - reality is that webbuilders should or could try to use webstandards. It is an organic process - trying to make webstandards work - it just needs a lot of time and trying to tell people that webstandards are there for you not against you.
