The brouhaha over Dave Winer’s decision to pull the plug on weblogs.com-hosted blogs offers three axioms about the Web in specific, and life in general:
- when people get something for free, they often treat it as a right instead of a privilege;
- sometimes, even those who get “It” don’t get it;
- a little kindness can go a long way.
