RSS and newspapers
RSS’s relationship with online newspapers is on my brain, and the topic seems to be appearing everywhere:
- The New York Times explains what RSS is;
- MediaSavvy asks “Why can't a newspaper be more like a blog?” in regards to RSS;
- the OJR explains how RSS feeds can build Web traffic;
- Dave Winer echoes the OJR in the third post to his new “RSS for Dummies”-style site;
- meanwhile, Jim Coudal worries, like some online publishers, about the risks in offering a feed.
