The National Magazine Awards have re-instated their prize for poetry after a vocal protest. You can submit work until March 16 (via Dominion).

"plain text is the only usable and accessible solution when abbreviations need to be expanded for end users directly." This makes a lot of sense and, in fact, the whole article is very convincing. I have a feeling this will signal a sea change in usage at least among those in the semantic weblog community. It's 'Fixed vs Liquid' all over again.
