onclick="offSite(this.href); return false;" is really annoying. all i want to do is open links in a new tab, NOT in a new window. i've tried right clicking - nup, straight to a new window, ctrl clicking, i get the site in a new tab but a new window pops up as well - agggh!

http://www.hotbot.lycos.com/prefs_skins.asp doesn't work in Mozilla 1.2.1 because it doesn't support web standards, apparently.
Not fair.

Alison: you are not alone in disliking pop-ups. Although I have a the scripts to make this user controlled, I haven't had time to implement it. It is on the top of a very big to do list... Also, I surprised to hear "right click and new tab" opens a pop-up. I tried that and middle-click in Mozilla 1.2.1 and I didn't get a pop-up. Could be how you have your permissions set.
