XSLT; styling headlines; fighting copyright tariffs
Although I’m extremely busy right now I have the opportunity to finally practice what I preach about the separation of presentation and structure, and am finally realizing how valuable XSLT would be in a real-world situation.
Christopher Schmitt has written an excellent piece on styling headlines. A great example of what can be accomplished with CSS.
Tantek has an interesting CSS-only method to trick spambots: just try copying his email on the résumé
Good to see the retailers are joining the fight against the ludricous policy to extend copyright tariffs on just about anything that can record digital work (read an earlier LCKY entry on the proposed fees).

the poking around found that the email addresses get posted to a very large text file (9087 lines as of this post):
http://extract.play4keeps.com/logdir/remove.txt
what's worse is how often new addresses are added to the list! earlier today i saw the list jump 300odd entries in less than 10 minutes.
